Willine Jewell

Mrs. Willine S. Jewell, age 61 of Sanderson, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2015. A lifelong resident of Baker County, Mrs. Jewell was a homemaker who enjoyed doing yard work and sitting outside by a fire. She also liked listening to country music and going fishing. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband: Glenn Jewell of Sanderson: sons: James Nelson of Sanderson, Brian (Jessica) Jewell of Glen St. Mary, and Michael Jewell of Sanderson; daughters: Pamalina (Donnie Gonzalez) Powless of Sanderson and Lekisha "Boo" Dinkins of Sanderson; and brother: Johnny (Bonnie) Smith of Powder Springs, GA. Numerous grandchildren and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: James and Laverne Beasley Smith, brother: Donnie Smith, sister: Geraldine "Pinky" Bryant, and great granddaughter: Miah K. Powless. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, with Reverend Nathan Tucker officiating. Burial will follow at North Prong Cemetery, Sanderson. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at the funeral home.
