Willie Mae Cribb, age 87 of Macclenny passed away on the evening of Friday, December 8, 2023 at Macclenny Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born on December 19, 1935 in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Charles and Estheline (Feapherstone) Aaron. Early in life, the family would relocate to North Florida and Willie Mae would graduate from Jackson High School. For many years, she dedicated her skills and time to her career with Anchor Glass Corp. She would also sell for the Avon Company. In her spare time, Ms. Willie Mae enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers in the yard. She loved hosting get-togethers at her home and playing cards and horseshoes with friends. She was a member of Taylor Church for the last fifteen years and cherished the time she spent with her church family. Ms. Willie Mae was an animal lover and had two beloved pets at home, “Lady” and “Molly”.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-nine years: John Henry Cribb and a son: Eddie Sweat.

She is survived by her daughter: Deborah “Dee” Williams of Jacksonville; stepchildren: Denis Cribb of Jacksonville, John Louis Cribb of Middleburg, James Cribb of Starke, Glynda Burch and Rosetta Stanhope both of Green Cove Springs; granddaughter: Joy (Jason) Thompson; great-grandchildren: Mackenzie Williams and Ashley Williams; a host of step grandchildren; siblings: Billy (Pat) Aaron, Norman (Becky) Aaron, Pattie Russ, and Lois Joiner; as well as a multitude of close church family and friends.

Funeral services to honor Ms. Willie Mae’s life will be held Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Taylor Church with Rev. William Green officiating and Bro. Richard Yarbrough assisting. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM at the church and conclude at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Taylor Cemetery.
