William Bohannon

Mr. William Buryl Bohannon, "Pepaw", age 88, of Sopchoppy died Tuesday, November 23, 2010. He was born in Vina, Alabama on May 3, 1922, he served in the US Army duirng WWII and retired from the Florida Department of Transportation in 1984. Pepaw loved making his Summer and Fall gardens and he grew some of the best collards around. He is survived by 4 daughters: Barbara Sandlin, of Decatur, Al., Lynn Graham of Wrightsville, GA, Vicki Bohannon of Tampa, FL., and Jennifer Bohannon of Panacea, FL; 1 son: Billy Bohannon of Dexter, GA 1 brother: Elmer Bohannon of Adrian, MI; 1 sister: Jewell Morrow of Muscle Shoals, Al; and numerous grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Mt. Beasor Primative Baptist Church, Sopchoppy, FL on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 3:00 pm with Elder Bruce Taylor officiating, the family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will folow in the Sanborn Cemetery, Sopchoppy, FL. Arrangements are under the care and direction of FORBES FUNERAL HOME, 1171 S. 6th Street, Macclenny, FL 904-259-4600.
