Vivian Harvey Dority

Ms. Vivian Harvey Dority, age 89, of Sanderson, FL passed away Wednesday, December 4th at her home. Ms. Dority was born in Sanderson, FL to the late Fred and Sadie Raulerson Harvey and was a lifelong resident of Baker County. She loved being outdoors and enjoyed spending time growing flowers and gardening. Ms. Dority liked to listen to gospel and bluegrass music and cherished spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, her late husband, Thomas A. Dority and two sons, Joseph Fredrick Wilburn and Jefferson Davis Wilburn. Ms. Dority is survived by one daughter, Ruth Naomi Conner of Jacksonville, FL: one brother, Ed Harvey of Sanderson, FL: two sisters, Aline Rockhold of Oakleaf, FL and Dorothy Simmons of Sanderson, FL. Eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive. A funeral service to honor the life of Ms. Dority will be held Monday, December 9th at 1 P.M. in the Chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home. Visitation and gathering with the family be will Sunday, December 8th from 5 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will follow the funeral service in Cedar Creek Cemetery.
