Vanessa Strickland

Ms. Vanessa L. Strickland, age 42 of Tallahassee, passed away Friday, September 4, 2015. Ms. Strickland was a homemaker who enjoyed movies and crafts. She loved spending time with and talking to her friends and family. She is survived by her daughter: Shana Strickland (Chris) of Tallahassee; mother: Sarah Kirkland of Tallahassee; brothers: Mike (Misti) Kirkland and Tommy Kirkland all of Tallahassee; sisters: Lisa (Dallas) Ramer of Hosford and Kathy Arrington of Tallahassee; nieces: Hunter and April Kirkland and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her father: Floyd Kirkland. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Generations Church, Tallahassee with Reverend Joe Acevado officiating. Interment will follow at Panacea Cemetery, Panacea, Florida. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
