Tonia Brown

Tonia S. Brown, age 41 of Jacksonville, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015. Ms. Brown was an Orlando area native and had been a resident of Jacksonville for the past eight years. She was a very loving and compassionate woman who enjoyed music, singing and dancing. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. She loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandson. She is survived by her sons: Dale and Austin Ward of Jacksonville; daughters: Ashley (Roger) Combs of Arizona and Katlynn Ward of Jacksonville; grandson: James Freeman; father: Joseph Brown of North Carolina; mother: Patricia (Donald) Maxwell of Jacksonville; brothers: Joseph Brown and Peter Bissonnette both of Jacksonville; sisters: Tammy Brown of Jacksonville and Holly (Rodney) Terrell of Bradenton; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and an uncle. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
