Timothy Thompson

Mr. Timothy B. Thompson, age 51 of Woodbine, GA, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 after an extended illness. Born in Indiana, to the late William H. and Nona Sanders Thompson, Mr. Thompson had been in the Hilliard/Jacksonville area since the age of 5 years old. He was a truck driver and when he wasn't working, he enjoyed tinkering on his lawn mowers and tending to his koi fish. He loved his children and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Rose Marie Thompson; sons: William Thompson of St. George, GA, Justin (Roxanne) Thompson of Folkston, GA, David Lee and Justin Lee, both of Woodbine; grandchildren: Sydney Grace Thompson and April Shafer; brothers: Sam (Ann) Thompson of St. Augustine, FL, Dan (Gina) Thompson of Rocky Mount, VA, Dale (Juanita) Thompson of Visalia, CA, Rick (Bonnie) Thompson of Westport, IN, and Jerry Thompson of Pittsburgh, PA; sister: Jane (Dale) Davis of Northport, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Aeris Thompson, Bill Thompson, and Mike Thompson and sister: Sue Smith. A celebration of his life will be held at 1:00pm, Saturday, November 14, 2015 at First United Pentecostal Church of Kingsland, GA, where Mr. Thompson was a member.
