Tamay Louise "Tammie" Tyre

Mrs. Tamay "Tammie" L. Tyre, age 51 of Macclenny, passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017. Originally from Jacksonville, Mrs. Tyre was a resident of Baker County for many years. She enjoyed camping and spending time with family, especially her nieces and nephews, whom she adored. She loved dogs, especially dachshunds. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and her outgoing personality. She was a member of Upper Room Community Outreach Church in Macclenny. She is survived by her loving husband: Wilbur "Gene" Tyre of Macclenny; her mother: Louise Cothran of Macclenny; her brother: David (Sonya) Cothran of Jacksonville; her sister: Karen (Terrell) Alexander of Macclenny; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Mrs. Tyre was preceded in death by her father: Mr. Raymond Cothran. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 4, 2017 in the chapel at Forbes Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Creek Cemetery, Sanderson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
