Ms. Sondro "Sandi" Dykes Ross, age 70 of Pelham, GA and formerly of Wakulla County, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Sandi grew up in Spring Creek and was a 1964 graduate of Crawfordville High School. She obtained a Business Degree from Massey Business College in Jacksonville and was an administrative assistant for many years. She taught herself to play piano by ear at a young age, and loved to play music and sing. Sandi was active in her church; teaching bible study and sharing the love of Jesus through her testimony. She had a servant's heart and helped distribute food and clothing to anyone in need. She loved to laugh, enjoyed going fishing, and loved preparing meals for her friends and family. She is survived by her daughters: Dana (Hank) Forbes of Macclenny, FL and Nikki (Ann Lindholm) Ross of Chipley, FL; grandson: Hawke Forbes of Macclenny, FL; brothers: Billy (Vicky) Tobell of Crawfordville, FL and George (Susan) Griswold of Princeton, NC; and sister-in-law: Jean Dykes of Crawfordville, FL. Numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Wilmer and Hannah Dykes; and brothers: Bobby Mangum, William R. "Bill" Gray, Jr., Jimmie Dykes, and Dennis Tobell. A celebration of her life will be held 11:00am, Monday, November 7, 2016 at Christian Worship Center, Crawfordville, FL. Burial will follow at Crawfordville Cemetery, Crawfordville, FL. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Christian Worship Center.
