Sharon Kay Sapp, age 76 of St. George passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at her home. She was born in Everglades City to the late Jame and Bessie (Hall) Daniels on April 1, 1948. She spent several years in the Ft. Pierce area with her husband Bill, as he operated his AC and radiator shop. Eventually they settled in the Georgia Bend. Bill taught Sharon how to play poker and she would end up winning more tournaments than he did. She also enjoyed gardening and going to church. It didn’t take much time around Ms. Sharon to realize what a joyful and caring woman she was.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Jimmy Daniels, Michael Daniels, and Nancy Daniels; her son: John Squires; and her beloved husband, William “Bill” Sapp just in November of 2023.
She is survived by two sons: James Squires of West Palm Beach and Damon Parnell of Ft. Pierce; seven grandchildren; two nieces and a nephew; and her best friend of more than forty years, Ms. Rodie Conlon.
Final memorialization will be by cremation.
