Sharon Baty Jarvis

Mrs. Sharon Baty Jarvis, age 66 of Glen St. Mary, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016. She was born in Jacksonville to the late Richard and Roxie Crews Baty. Sharon attended Paxon High School (class of '67) before moving to Baker County in 1975. She was very involved with her family's business; Jarvis Painting Company, Inc. In her free time she enjoyed shopping, country music, and cooking. Sharon was a very caring woman, always putting the needs of others above her own. Her family was very important to her and she will be remembered as an excellent wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She is survived by her husband of 48 years: Mike Jarvis; sons: Richie (Karen) Jarvis and Ricky (Keri) Jarvis; grandchildren: Branda Jarvis and Kelton Jarvis; and brother: Richard Baty Jr., all of Glen St. Mary. Her cherished dogs: "Lil Bit" and " Dingo" and numerous other family members also survive. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 5, 2016 at Macclenny Primitive Baptist Church with Elder David Crawford officiating. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny.
