Sarah Kubelka

Ms. Sarah Yvonne Kubelka, age 67 of Jacksonville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2016. Ms. Kubelka was a lifelong Jacksonville resident. She was the office manager for Dr. Thomas Russell DMD for twenty five years until his retirement; and was currently the office manager for Dr. Dwight Jones DMD. Sarah was a "social butterfly" who never met a stranger and enjoyed taking care of others. She loved visiting with friends and family, cooking and collecting cookbooks, and going to the beach. She was a world traveler and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a sales rep for Christmas Around the World by House of Lloyd and held a special place in her heart for all animals. She is survived by her daughters: Cindy (Ray) Gurley of Jacksonville and Sandy (Scott) Yamamoto of Virginia; granddaughters: Kay-Lin Carter, Alyssa Williams, Alanna Carter, Stephanie, Sarah, and Sydney Yamamoto; brothers: Barry Sanderson of Jacksonville and J. D. Connor of Orange Park; sisters: Brandi Connor and Patty Sanderson both of Jacksonville; nephews: Barry Sanderson Jr. and Matthew Sanderson both of Jacksonville; cousins: Reverend Johnnie Wayne (Ruby) Anderson of Macclenny, Reverend Clyde (Mary Lou) Anderson of Glen St. Mary, Cleo (Sammy) Osteen of Mayo, Michael (Sherry) Anderson of Macclenny, and Gloria (Bert) Cardona of Jacksonville. Numerous other family members also survive. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Monday, January 18, 2016 at the Baldwin Church of God with Reverend Johnnie Anderson officiating. Burial will follow at the Moniac Cemetery, Moniac, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
