Ryan David Forehand, age 33 of Jacksonville and formerly of Tallahassee, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016. While growing up in Tallahassee, Ryan was very involved in little league football, basketball, and baseball and loved playing. He remained an avid Florida State Seminole fan his entire life. He also enjoyed skate boarding and inline skating. Ryan developed a passion for music and spent some time as a DJ. He was a very "tech-savvy" person and loved creating and remixing music, especially 80's music. He also spent some time working in the restaurant industry, which allowed him to travel and meet new people, which he greatly enjoyed. Ryan loved his family. He especially loved fishing with his grandma and his cousin, Hawke, who he loved like a brother. He is survived by his mother: Denise (Kim Carman) Forehand of Tallahassee; father: David Forehand of Tennessee; brothers: Parker Forehand of Arkansas and Kyle Forehand of Tennessee; sister: Shelby Forehand of Arkansas; grandmothers: Ella Forbes of Jacksonville and Pat Forehand of Pensacola; grandfather: Pete (Dot) Forehand of Tennessee; "god-grandmother": Donna Hicks of Jacksonville; uncles: H. M. "Hank" (Dana) Forbes, Jr. of Macclenny, Steve (Cheryl) Forehand of Tampa, and Fred Forehand of Pensacola; and his cousin: Hawke Forbes of Macclenny. Numerous other family members survive. He was preceded in death by his grandfather: Henry M. Forbes Sr. A celebration of his life will be held 11:00am, Monday, August 22, 2016 at Christian Worship Center, Crawfordville, Florida. Burial will follow at Crawfordville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Sunday, August 21, 2016 at the church.
