Ms. Ruby Nichols Taylor, age 88 of Panacea, Florida passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. A lifelong resident of Wakulla County, Ms. Taylor was born to the late Sim and Elzador Vickers Nichols. She was a member of VFW Post 4538 Women's Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, gardening and going fishing. She especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons: James "Buddy" (Heidi) Taylor, Merritt (Jessie) Taylor, and Delano Taylor all of Panacea; daughters: Lillian (Robert) Clemons of Crawfordville, Peggy (Charles) Stribbling of Warner Robins, GA and Donna Taylor of Panacea. Twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty seven years: James Taylor Sr. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Nichols-Revells Cemetery, Otter Creek, Florida with Elder Bruce Taylor officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Monday, January 13, 2014 at the residence of Charles and Eunice Metcalf, 158 Nichols Road, Sopchoppy, Florida.
