Ruby Stafford

Mrs. Ruby E. Stafford, age 71 of Lake City, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015. Mrs. Ruby was a native of Vienna, Georgia and lived in Lake City most of her life. She was the co-owner of Stafford's Fire Extinguisher Service. Mrs. Stafford enjoyed playing bingo, bowling and watching Forensic Files on TV. She loved sports and cooking for her family and friends. She especially loved spending time with her grandbabies. She is survived by her husband: James Earl Stafford; sons: Stacy Stafford and Eddie Stafford, and daughter: Tammy Eaker all of Lake City; brothers: Jimmy Crook of Alabama and John Crook of Warner Robins, GA; sister: Martha (Bob) Sweezer of Lake City; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm., Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the Watertown Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Randy Ogburn officiating. Interment will follow at South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service.
