Ruby Louise Yarbrough Barg, 77, entered her eternal home Saturday, May 3, 2014, at Cypress Village Healthcare Center. Ruby was born in Taylor, FL, March 1, 1937 to Henrietta L. Yarbrough and the late Roy Yarbrough. She was the firstborn of four children and the first grandchild of the late Arthur and late Maggie Raulerson Yarbrough. Ruby was very talented and enjoyed her hobbies of needlework, gardening, baking, and traveling. She and her husband, Bill, visited nearly the entire United States and much of Europe in their early married years during his military career, and continued traveling in later years in their RV. When she and her family returned to Baker County in 1974, she was employed at Yarbrough Gas for many years. Her main focus was being a wife, mother, and homemaker. Ruby is predeceased by her father Roy Yarbrough, her brother Michael V. Yarbrough, and her brother Elvin Roy Yarbrough, who died in infancy. Ruby is survived by her husband of 56 years, William (Bill) G. Barg of Macclenny, her son George (Diane) Barg of Jacksonville, her daughter Judith (Luis) Perez of Colorado Springs, CO., her mother Henrietta L. Yarbrough of Macclenny, her sister Janie/Mary Jane (Mike) Dennard of Macclenny, 2 grandchildren, Lindsay Willoughby and Rebekkah Barg, two great grandchildren, Abigail and Nathan Willoughby, and her nephew/grandson Brent Dennard. Ruby was a member of Raiford Road Church and also attended Macclenny Primitive Baptist. At Ruby's request, there will be no funeral arrangements at this time. A memorial may be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers or gifts to family, memorial donations may be made to Gideon's International, which helps spread the Word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
