Mrs. Rosella "Rose" (Hickox) Creekmore, 58 of Glen St. Mary passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side.
Rose was born in Valdosta, Georgia on October 10, 1960 to the late Mr. Hershel and Alma (Crews) Hickox.
Mrs. Creekmore had been a near lifelong resident of Baker County. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed cooking for all of them. In her spare time she enjoyed playing card games, and played sports with her kids as they grew up, both softball and volleyball. She also enjoyed traveling, going on cruises and camping.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister: Tammy Crews; and her brother: Harry Hickox.
She leaves behind her husband of 43 years, Mr. Jeffery Creekmore of Glen St. Mary; daughters: Candy (Curtis) Bennett of Raiford, Dana (Josh) Herring of Glen St. Mary, and Tonya (Darrell) Beasley of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren: Brooklyn (Joel) Starling, Dylan Herring, Earl (Bree) Starling, Alex Beasley, Madison (Douglas) Herring, Ava (Cameron) Herring, Landon Beasley, Maylee Beasley, Kenadee Beasley, and Josiah Herring; one great granddaughter: Adalynn Mathis; step-mother: Ronnie Hickox of Brunswick, Georgia; sisters: Pam (Dennis) Lipnick of Macclenny and Myra Eades of Brunswick, Georgia; brother: Clifford Dixon of Brunswick, Georgia; and numerous other family members and friends.
The family will be receiving friends in the Family Memorial Chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny on Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Sanderson Congregational Holiness Church with Pastor Oral Lyons and Pastor Justin Griffis officiating.
