Ronald "Ronnie" David Taylor, 61 of Taylor passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Shands Hospital Gainesville.

Mr. Taylor was born in Jacksonville on December 29, 1957 to the late Milton and Lucille (Crews) Taylor. He graduated from Baker County High School in 1975. After high school, he was married to Ms. Velma Bryan. Soon after, he joined the United States Army and served as a vehicle mechanic. Following his stint in the Army, he went into iron working, in which he spent the rest of his life.

Mr. Taylor spent his entire life as a resident of Taylor. In his spare time, he enjoyed farming and spending time with his children and grandchildren.

His favorite saying "If I knew grandchildren was this much fun, I would have had them first".

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Taylor.

He is survived by his children: Jason Taylor, Milton (Jessalyn) Taylor, and Jaime (John Farrell) Taylor all of Taylor; grandchildren: Randall Taylor, Wyatt Taylor, and Jacob Farrell; brothers: Rodney Taylor, Ricky (Teresa) Taylor, and Robbie (Kim) Taylor all of Taylor; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Family will be receiving friends Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Forbes Funeral Home Chapel.

Services will take place in the chapel at 2:00 pm following the visitation.

Following conclusion of services, a small gathering will be held at the Terry Crews Sr. Farms, 6852 Cattle Gap Lane, Glen St. Mary, Florida 32040.
