Ronald Stokes

Mr. Ronald D. Stokes, age 58 of High Springs, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014. A United States Army Veteran, Mr. Stokes served multiple tours in post-war Korea and was highly decorated. He was a member of the American Legion and Sons of the Confederacy. He was a coin collector who enjoyed doing genealogy research, making wine, and spending time outdoors. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty six years: Yong Stokes; son: Robert Stokes of High Springs; brothers: (twin) Rick (Alicia) Stokes of High Springs, Marcus (Debbie) Stokes of Plant City, and Alan (Michelle) Stokes of Live Oak, and Jim Hudson of Branford; sisters: Sylvia (Charles) Fidler of High Springs and Holly Fuente of Ft. Lauderdale. A graveside service will be held 2:00pm, Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Boone's Creek Cemetery, St. George, GA with Pastor Richard Fish officiating.
