Roger Hunter

Mr. Roger Dale Hunter, age 63 of Sanderson, passed away Wednesday, September 23, 2015. A twenty seven year Baker County resident, Mr. Hunter was a retired carpenter who loved to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed woodworking and tending to his cats. He also loved working in his yard and gardening. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed life to the fullest. He is survived by his son: Ricky Hunter (Lynn Scarborough) of Macclenny; daughter: Jennifer Hunter (Daniel Farrell) of Macclenny; grandchild: Riley Farrell of Macclenny; brothers: Howard (Shirley) Hunter of Bryceville and Danny Hunter of Macclenny; and sisters: Diane (Raymond) Guy and Priscilla (Eddie) Willcutts all of Macclenny. He was preceded in death by his parents: Lecil and Maurine Hunter. A graveside funeral service will be held 11:00am, Monday, September 28, 2015 at Taylor Cemetery, Sanderson with Reverend Jim Cox officiating.
