Robert Griffin Pettyjohn

Mr. Robert "Bobby" Griffin Pettyjohn Jr. age 58, of Jacksonville passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at Haven Custead Care Center of Orange Park.
Mr. Pettyjohn was born in Warner Robbins, Georgia on February 15, 1961 to the late Mr. Robert G. Pettyjohn Sr. and Ms. Effie Bradley Kennedy. He spent most of his life as a resident of Jacksonville.
Bobby was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Jacksonville for several years. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, going dancing, and had a love for fishing, especially in the Intercoastal Waterway.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Pettyjohn Jr. is survived by his loving wife, Christian Staine of Jacksonville; step-father: William "Bill" Kennedy of Macclenny; daughters: Mandy (Miles) Colby of Jacksonville, Jennifer (Randall) Crews of Middleburg, and Sandra (Adam) Cox of Zephyrhills; brothers: Ricky (Jessica) George of Nashville, Tennessee; sisters: Diane Powell of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Caroline Pettyjohn and Sheila (Tommy) Morton all of Jacksonville; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
The family will be holding a celebration of Mr. Bobby's life at a later date.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
