Mr. Robert Charles Clemons, age 63 of Crawfordville, passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2016. He was born to the late Mert and Erlene Marshall Clemons and was a resident of Tallahassee until moving to Crawfordville eleven years ago. Robert retired from the City of Tallahassee, where he made many lifelong friends. He loved the Lord, his family and the Florida State Seminoles. He also loved history and science fiction books and movies, especially Doctor Who. Robert had a sense of humor and told terrible jokes that kept his friends and family entertained. He loved to talk and will be remembered for "just one more thing..." He is survived by his loving wife of thirty nine years: Lillian Taylor Clemons of Crawfordville; daughter: Kaleigh Clemons of Crawfordville; aunt: Edna Roberts of Semmes, Alabama; brothers: John (Cheryl) Clemons of Wichita Falls, TX; Keith Clemons of Tallahassee, and Keenan (Barbara) Clemons of Crawfordville; brothers-in-law: Buddy (Heidi) Taylor, Merritt (Jessie) Taylor, and Delano Taylor all of Panacea; and sisters-in-law: Peggy (Charles) Stribbling of Warner Robins, GA; and Donna Taylor of Panacea. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, including his special nephew (and honorary grandson): Izac Taylor. Graveside services will be held 11:00am, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Nichols-Revells Cemetery in Sopchoppy. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the cemetery.
