Mr. Richard Joseph Lyczak, age 83 of St. George, GA went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 18th at his home following an extended illness. Mr. Lyczak was born in Mt. Holly, New Jersey and lived in Fellsmere, FL before relocating to St. George, GA over 17 years ago.
Mr. Lyczak spent 21 years in the Army National Guard where he found the love of his life. He enjoyed fishing and crabbing on the Jersey Shore, rain or shine. Mr. Lyczak also liked to spend time gardening and riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the United Methodists Church, Macclenny, FL and was very active in several ministries, including, mowing lawns for those in need and the prison ministry. He definitely had a servants heart.
He is survived by his loving wife, Suzette Lyczak of St. George, GA: one brother, Bernie Lyczak: sister in law, Lorraine Lyczak and two nieces, Susan and Pattie.
A memorial service to honor the life of Mr. Lyczak will be held at 11 A.M., Saturday, March 1st in the Chapel of Guerry Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny, FL with Rev. Tom Pope officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 10:30 A.M.
