Paul Ray Grainger

Mr. Paul Ray Grainger Sr., age 74, of Glen St. Mary, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on February 12, 1944 in Loris, SC to the late Maxie and Letha Grainger.
Mr. Grainger was a long time Tug Boat Captain, a career that he took very seriously. Before moving to Baker County, he was a resident of Jacksonville. When not working, he enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends. He loved working on things around the house and was a very talkative man. He will be remembered as a loving husband and father who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his wife Cheryle Grainger of Glen St. Mary; sons: Timothy Grantham and Paul Grainger Jr. of Glen St. Mary; daughters: Virginia (Mark) Kane of Middleburg, Kimberly Grainger, and Sandra Grantham both of Jacksonville; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Frances Rheuark of Loris, SC; and nephew: Chad Grogan.
Mr. Grainger is preceded in death by his parents.
