Patty Duncan

Ms. Patty D. Duncan, age 64 of Olustee, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2015. A lifelong Baker County resident, Ms. Duncan was born to the late Harry and Cleo Jolly Johns. She enjoyed music and singing. She was very interested in genealogy and loved planning and hosting family reunions. Ms. Duncan enjoyed cooking and canning and won many ribbons at the Baker County Fair for her jellies. She loved watching westerns and was a John Wayne fan. She collected unicorn figurines and loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her son: Greg Duncan of Olustee; brother: Ricky (Rosanna) Johns of Virginia; sisters: Carol Dugger of Olustee and Sue Allison (Paul) Dyal of Lake City. Ten nieces and nephews and seventeen great nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, August 21, 2015 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Macclenny, where Ms. Duncan was a member, with Brother Joseph Heath officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Union County. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Thursday, August 20, 2015 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home.
