Patricia Carol Kelley, age 67 of Macclenny went to be with Christ Jesus Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Community Hospice at Ascension St. Vincent’s Riverside Hospital after an extended illness. She was born in Jacksonville on January 11, 1954 and was raised by her grandparents, the late Travis and Elvie Byrd. After their deaths, she recognized the late Theodore and Louise Canaday as her stepparents.

Pat was known for achieving a lot of goals in her life, along with being a hard worker. She was among five of her classmates who graduated high school in eleven years in 1971, which was unheard of. She worked for the Old Southern States Nurseries until she was able to go to work for the Guaranty Banks in Jacksonville, where she worked her way to the top in bookkeeping, head teller, proof operator, collection department, and the head of check printing department, with thirteen years’ experience in banking. She worked over the years with the Baker County Courthouse, George P. Coyle and Sons, Amazing Grace Ministries, and then retired from the Macclenny Golf Course. She loved music and learned to play the piano at an early age. She loved singing with her daughters growing up and traveled with them to sing. Most of all she loved her grandchildren and fishing.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; stepparents; sister: Kathaleen Tyson; and a daughter: Amy Lynn Kelley.

Pat leave behind her daughters: Amanda (Dale) Raulerson of Sanderson and Amber (Joe) Cardona of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Grace, Lacey and Noah Raulerson, James, ReAnna, and Johnny Cardona, and Alyssa and Kierah Kelley; sister: Reba (Scott) Lee of Hoboken, Georgia; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Manntown Cemetery.
