Patricia A. Ball

Ms. Patricia Ball, age 61 of Lake Butler, passed away Thursday, January 5, 2017. Born in Raiford to the late Johnnie and Clarice Dees Addison, Ms. Ball spent part of her childhood in Macclenny before moving to Lake Butler. Ms. Ball was a retired corrections officer who enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, and growing flowers. She will be remembered as a funny, outgoing, independent woman with a "larger than life" personality. She is survived by her grandsons: Joshua B. Gunter of Lake Butler and Jordan Dyal of Starke; brothers: Dillard (Patty) Addison of Delaware and Dan (Aldina) Addison of Missouri; sister: Mavis Dowling of Taylor; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: George Ball; daughter: Karen Denise Thomas; four brothers and two sisters. A celebration of her life will be held at the family residence (19517 NW 137th Lane, Lake Butler, Florida) 1:00pm, Sunday, January 8, 2017. A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Swift Creek Cemetery, Lake Butler.
