Mr. Nathan Scott Harris, age 60 of Macclenny, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

He was born July 28, 1957 in Macclenny, Florida to the late L.C. and Laverne (Combs) Harris.
Mr. Harris was a heavy equipment operator for many years, driving a Track-Hoe, a job that he took much pride in. He was a loving father, brother and friend and will be remembered for his joking personality. In his spare time, Mr. Nathan enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his four-wheeler. He could often be found spending time under the ‘old oak tree'. He also enjoyed taking trips to the Smokey Mountains.

Mr. Scott is survived by his daughters: April Marie Harris and Lisa (Chris) Harris both of Macclenny; son: Jesse Griffis of Macclenny; brother: Anthony (Tonya) Harris of Moniac, Georgia; grandson: Nathan Harris of Macclenny; special cousins: Michael and Melissa Harris of Macclenny; niece: Rachel Stewart of Macclenny; and nephew: Samuel Stewart of Macclenny. Numerous other family and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 am, with Reverend Tommy Anderson and Reverend Wendy Floria officiating, at Road to Calvary Church, Glen St. Mary, Florida. Burial will follow at South Prong Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5-7:00 pm, at the church.
