Mildred June Pittman

Mildred June Pittman, age 89 of Glen St. Mary passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born on June 25, 1932 in Waycross to the late Mr. Jack and Mrs. Mattie (Mainor) Sanders. Ms. Mildred was a woman dedicated to her family and her home for many years. She enjoyed farming and traveling in her younger years. She loved to garden, cook for her family, and enjoyed puzzles in her free time. She also had an interest in interior home design.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings: Edgar Sanders, Johnny Sanders, Wayne Bodden, Stanley Sanders, Betty Wynn, and Jacqueline Waldrep; grandchildren: Jamie Pittman, Ethan Arnold, and Aiden Pittman.

She is survived by her children: Judy Pittman of Glen St. Mary, Bonnie (Duncan) Grinstead of Branford, Michael (Beth) Pittman, Jeffrey (Jessica) Pittman, and Nancy Pittman all of Mississippi, and Kevin (Carolyn) Pittman of Louisiana; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; sister: Juanell Orsulack of Jacksonville; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Private graveside services will be held with Rev. Terry Yerby officiating.
