Mildred Padgett, 78, of Macclenny, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012. A native of Jacksonville, Ms. Padgett was a resident of Baker County for the past 40 years. After her retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her son: Scott S. Padgett (Debbie); daughters: Mochelle Padgett (Tim) and Laura P. (Timothy) Williams; a sister: Dianne Harvey; grandchildren: Carrie Nipper, Shane Williams and Kristin Padgett; great granchildren: Destanie and Richard Munoz. She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley K. Padgett and her parents George and Sallie Johnson Griner. A memorial service will be held at 12:00pm, Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Glen Friendship Tabernacle, Glen St. Mary, with Mike Griner officiating.
