Mary Pyle

Ms. Mary E. Pyle, age 91 of Maxville, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Originally from New Jersey, Ms. Pyle was a twelve year local resident. Mary had a heart for the community, volunteering with the Auxiliary Fire Department, Girl Scouts, and various other community activities. She enjoyed travelling, hiking, camping, fishing, and dancing and loved spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her daughters: Patricia Bates of Maxville, FL and Lois Staines of Pine Hill, NJ; brother: Kenneth (Mary) Cook of Edgewater, FL; sister: Ruth Worrell; six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her daughter: Janice Frederico, brother: Edward Cook, and sister: Edna Doughty. A celebration of her life will be held privately, at a later date.
