Ms. Martha Doreen Wehling, age 72 of Glen St. Mary, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side.
She was born on May 22, 1946 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late James and Maybelle (Conner) Sharpe.
Ms. Martha spent many years working as a manager at Pier 6 Seafood & Steaks in Macclenny. When not working, she was a homebody, enjoying gardening, cooking, and baking. She loved her family and her dog, Bella. She would often cook a full meal for Bella, even if she herself was not hungry.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her son: Marty Davis; her sister: Dani Faye Welch; and grandson: Josh Davis.
She is survived by her daughter: Michelle (Jimmy) Irish of Glen St. Mary; son: Randy (Kim) Davis of Glen St. Mary; grandchildren: Dylan Irish, Adam (Jen) Irish, Dustin Irish, Marshall Davis, Ryan Davis, Randy Davis Jr., Jessica Davis and Justin Davis; great-grandchildren: Evan Irish and Anna Irish; brothers: Robert (Janet) Thomas of Panama City, Jimmy (Sue) Sharpe of Abbeville, Alabama, and Perry (Jennifer) Thomas of Hereford, Arizona; and sister: Sandè Thomas of Panama City.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
