Marsha Louise Billhimer

Marsha Louise (Manley) Billhimer, age 68, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2023, after a valiant fight under the care of hospice at Pruitt Healthcare Palmyra Center in Albany, Georgia. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Ray and Joanne (Stevens) Manley on December 2, 1954. She would visit Wakulla County growing up and would live there off and on during her adult life, spending time in Maryland as well.

Marsha lived her life the only way she knew how, her way. She loved being on the open road on her motorcycle. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining, spending her time with her family and friends. She will be remembered as a truly one-of-a-kind woman.

She was preceded in death by her father Ray Manley; mother and stepfather: “Mama Jo” Joanne (Stevens) Ladwig and “Pop” Wayne Ladwig in 2019; her brother: Robert Manley in 2020; and her niece: Leigh Anne Strickland in 2016.

She leaves behind to cherish years of memories, her children: Shipley (Cleofe) Billhimer of Takoma Park, MD, Jasmine (Chris) Kincheloe of Albany, GA, and Keith (Annie) Fisher of Tallahassee; grandchildren: AJ Billhimer, Klimo Billhimer, Xander Billhimer, Lorelei Billhimer, and Michael Leigh Kincheloe; sisters: Rayanne (Skip) Crane of Chattanooga, TN and Charlene (David) Parrish of Thomasville; step-brothers: Sean (Amy) Ladwig and Scott Ladwig; nephew: Howell (Wendy) Batts of Crawfordville; niece: Hannah Stark; nephew-in-law: Bill Strickland; great niece and nephew: Helena Batts and Cole Strickland; step-niece: Abby Ladwig; as well as a multitude of friends and extended family members.

The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at Shady Sea Baptist Church, Spring Creek, Florida at 2:00 PM. A Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00 PM at the church with interment to follow at Debra Nell Cemetery, Spring Creek, Florida.
