Mr. Lee Lydon Perkins of Valrico, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2019 in Tampa at the age of 75.

"Lydon" was born in Marianna, Florida to the late Mr. Leroy and Beula (Williams) Perkins on August 14, 1943.

Mr. Perkins spent most of his life in Hillsborough County and was a 1961 graduate of Brandon High School. He went on to dedicate 27 years of his life to CF Industries, working as a superintendent for the company.

Lydon was a fan of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and for some time was a season ticket holder. He also enjoyed bass fishing on Lake Kissimmee. In 2004, he received a heart transplant at Tampa General Hospital, which allowed him to spend another 15 years with his loving family and friends. He will be remembered as a hard working and loving man.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, daughter, and the love of his life, his wife of 54 years; Mrs. Tommie Eugene Perkins.

He leaves behind his son: Lee (Erica) Lydon Perkins II of Valrico; daughters: Amy (Ray) Norris of Tennessee and LeeAnn Register of Calhoun, Georgia; grandchildren: Christopher Norris, Jacob Register, Jonathan Register, Jeremy Register, Lee Lydon Perkins III, Tanner Perkins, and Kenedee Perkins; sister: Gloria (Jim) Godwin of Beaufort, South Carolina; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Memorialization will be by cremation.
