Layla Francine Strickland-Mcmillan

Layla was born on January 27, 1975 in Tallahassee, Florida and departed this earth September 12, 2016. She was a free spirit who loved her family and friends, was a gifted writer who loved writing poems, stories and in her journals and loved the beach where she found peace and solitude. Layla is survived by her son, Justin McMillan; her father, Mike (Elizabeth) Davis of South Carolina; her brother Kris Davis; her sister's Tanya and Tiki Davis all of South Carolina; her aunt's, Imogene Whaley, Betty Strickland and Connie Strickland Cutchin; her uncle's Larry (Joanne) Strickland and Richard Lynn, her cousins, Kathy, Nicki, Del, Don, Monica, Helen, Gene, Rick, Tery, Bradie, Kim and a host of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Lila Frances Strickland; her grandparents, Ralph and Alma Strickland; her uncles Durwood Strickland, Rodrick Strickland and her aunt Phyllis Lynn.
