Mr. Lawrence E. Manning, age 67, of Glen St. Mary, Florida passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012. Mr. Manning loved spending time with family, his grandchildren and our family friend, Peewee Starling. He was a retired corrections officer who loved his church and bluegrass music. He is survived by his wife: Kathryn Manning; sons: Lawrence E. (Jessica) Manning Jr. and Gary Manning; daughters: Lynette (Chuck) Highsmith and Leslie (Derrick) Williams; brothers: Vernon Manning, Ferrell (Alberteen) Manning and Robert Manning; sister: Mary Griffis; and grandchildren: Matthew, Shelby, Brandon, Jacob, Dalton, Kaden, Jadyn, and Chase. Graveside Services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Sanderson, Florida with Reverend Neil Griffis officiating.
