Mrs. Lawana Estell Green, age 83 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015. A lifelong resident of Baker County, Mrs. Green was a retired food service provider for the Baker County Sheriff's Department. An avid sports fan, she loved watching the Atlanta Braves, Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Florida Gators play ball. She especially loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, and growing and arranging flowers. Nothing made her happier than to get together with her children and her grandbabies. She is survived by her son: Marcus "Buddy" (Kristi) Combs of Macclenny; daughters: Lawana (Gene) Harvey of Sanderson, Marsha (Tom) Bates of Taylor, Susan (Earl) Harris of Macclenny, and Milisa "Lisa" Hays of Macclenny; sister: Evelyn Crews of Macclenny; sister-in-law: Wanda Davis of Macclenny; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son: Eddie Craven, granddaughter: Karissa Craven, brother: John R. "Buck" Davis Jr., and sisters: Eloise Harvey, Anna Lois Mobley, and Pauline Ogilvie. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Sunday, March 1, 2015 at Glen Baptist Church, Glen St. Mary, with Pastor Randy Williams and Reverend Perry Hays officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Glen Baptist Church.
