Lacey E. Padgett

Mr. Lacey E. Padgett, age 45 of Taylor, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. Mr. Padgett worked in the mining industry as a heavy equipment operator. He loved being in the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter. He enjoyed riding in the woods in his pickup truck "Dodge-zilla". He was a loving family man and will be remembered for his sense of humor and kind spirit. He is survived by his son: Benjamin Padgett of Starke; daughters Angel Carroll and Amber Padgett both of Taylor; granddaughter: Haley Padgett of Starke; mother: Bonnie Padgett of Starke; father: Charles Padgett Sr. of Taylor; brother: Charles (Dana) Padgett Jr. of Evart, Michigan; sister: Morley Jean Williamson of Tennessee and fiancée: Barbara Dye of Taylor. His family will be having a Thanksgiving meal in his memory at 2:00pm, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his fiancée's home in Taylor.
