Kathleen Ann Rogers

Kathleen Ann Rogers, age 55 of Jacksonville passed away Friday, November 12, 2021 at the Mayo Clinic. A lifelong resident of Jacksonville, she was born on January 13, 1966 to the late Mr. Herbert and Bessie (Sapp) Porter, Sr. Mrs. Kathleen was a dedicated wife and mother and loved her family. She enjoyed the outdoors, sightseeing on rides in the woods, and fishing. She also enjoyed shopping with her girls. She was an attending member at the First Baptist Church of Maxville.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Ann Cunningham; and granddaughter: Addalynn Ross.

She is survived by her loving husband of thirty five years: Kevin Rogers of Jacksonville; daughters: Heather Davis Faulk, Casey (Jamie Manuel) Rogers, and Katie (David) Ferreira all of Jacksonville; grandchildren: Mariah Manuel, Austin Manuel, Trenton Phillips, Landon Faulk, Bryson Phillips, Emmy Ferreira, Jaxon Manuel, Memphis Manuel, and Tristan Ross; brother: Herbert Porter, Jr. of Georgia; as well as extended family members.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Maxville with Pastor Richard Fish officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:30 until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Kathleen's honor to the American Heart Association.
