Jones Edward Bryant
October 13, 1936 — February 21, 2025
Jones Edward Bryant, 88 of Sanderson passed away Friday, February 21, 2025 at Frank Wells Nursing Home. Jones was born on October 13, 1936 in Mershon, Georgia to proud parents, Franklin and Ola (Nettles) Bryant. Jones would join the United States Air Force where he proudly served his country as a firefighter. He would later own Bryant’s Barbershop in Jacksonville for many years and also worked in property investment. Mr. Bryant was a hardworking man who enjoyed the little free time he had surrounded by his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, David Bryant and Doris Strickland.
He is survived by two sons, GW (Tracy) Bryant of Sanderson and Steve Bryant of Yulee; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Sarah Moore of Blackshear, Georgia and Joyce Brooks of Kingsland, Georgia.
