Jonathan Gabriel MacDonald, age 41 of Ocala, passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 30, 2023. Jonathan was born in West Monroe, Louisiana on April 5, 1981 to the late Mr. Michael and Mrs. Margaret (Cozatt) MacDonald.
Jonathan was known for his friendly and joking personality. He enjoyed being around family and friends. He worked for several years in the construction industry.
He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter: Jade.
He is survived by his son: Justin; mother: Margaret (Nelson) Vanderpool of Lake City; siblings: Trina Cook and Abram Vanderpool both of Tennessee, Matthew MacDonald, Anna Roach, and Eve Stewart all of Lake City, Daniel MacDonald of Gainesville, and Lydia Nicholson of Oregon; as well as nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
