Johnny Stratton

Johnny C. Stratton, age 81 of Macclenny, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013. He was born July 29, 1931 to the late Happy and Geneva Hutto Stratton. Mr. Stratton was an electrician for Williamson Electric and retired after forty years of service. He enjoyed fishing, reading western books, and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his son: Everette Stratton of Milton, Florida; daughters: Janis Crow, Tina Crocker, Christina Griffith all of Macclenny, Beth (Leon) Hart of Lebanon, MO and Sandra (Johnny) Parmerter of Jacksonville, FL; brother: E. W. (Judy) Mosley of White Springs, FL; sisters: Eudale Guy of Jacksonville and Mary (Jeff) Hunter of Frankfort, IN; seventeen grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Edna Mae Warman Stratton and daughter: Theresa Mae Garner; two brothers, three sisters, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the chapel of Forbes Funeral Home, Macclenny with Reverend Coy Caudill officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville. The family will receive friends 5-7:00pm, Monday, July 8, 2013 at the funeral home.
