John Alfred Moore

John Alfred Moore, 73 of Jacksonville passed away Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his residence.
Mr. John was born to the late Mr. Bennie and Louise (Davis) Moore in Daytona Beach, Florida on July 1, 1946.
John spent the majority of his life in Jacksonville and worked as a carpenter for many years. He was very involved in the construction business and took his work very serious. John enjoyed a private life, but when he got out, he loved to fish and he was an avid Florida State Seminole fan.
John proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.
He is preceded in death by his loving parents.
He is survived by his daughter: Pam Darling of Mt. Dora; grandchildren: Andrew, Caitlyn, and Noah; brother: Robert (Eloise) Moore of Glen St. Mary; sister: Lynn (Teri) Maxwell of Quincy; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
Memorialization will be by cremation.
