John Levy Brown

Mr. John Levy "J.B." Brown, age 41 of Macclenny, passed away at his home Saturday, September 3, 2016. He was born in Jacksonville to Vickie V. Brown and was a lifelong Macclenny resident. He enjoyed hunting, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. Most important to him was spending quality time at home. He is very much loved and survived by his fiance': Nancy Marie Johns of Macclenny; mother and step-father: Vickie V. (Mansoor Brenjani) Brown; sons: J.B. Harris and Derek Brown of Macclenny; daughters: Taylor Sizemore of Jacksonville, Taylor Harris, Sydney Brown, and Lainey Mash, all of Macclenny; step-daughter: Savannah Lauramore of Maxville; brother: Daniel Kent of Macclenny; and sisters: Racheal Peters of Callahan, Sarah Nelson of Hilliard, and Mehri Brenjani of Macclenny. Numerous other family members and friends also survive. A celebration of John's life will be held 6:00pm, Friday, September 9, 2016 in the chapel at Forbes Funeral Home with Reverend Fred Raulerson officiating.
