Mrs. Joan H. Rountree, age 60 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2016. Mrs. Rountree was originally from Jacksonville but had lived in Macclenny for the past ten years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, crocheting, and other crafts. She loved spending time with her friends and family. She will be remembered as a very kind and loving woman. She is survived by her husband: Donald Rountree; son: Chris (Tiffany) Rountree of Jacksonville; daughters: Wendy (David) Eddy of Taylor and Alisa (Jody) Parrish of Maxville; grandchildren: Tyler, Jozie, and Carson Eddy, Jake, Josh, and Allie Parrish, and Addison, Joseph, Kryssie, and Bailee Rountree; and sisters: Doris (T.R.) Smith of Macclenny and Jean (Terry) Logan of Middleburg. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cornelius and Alice Snyder Haddock; sisters: Sharon "Peanut" Bauer and Carol "Porky" Haddock; and brother: Butch Haddock. Funeral services will be held 12:00pm, Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Manntown Congregational Holiness Church, Glen St. Mary, with Pastor David Hodges officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place at 3:30pm the day of the service at Pigeon Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Hilliard, Florida.
