Jessie Childs

Jessie M. Childs, age 77 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013. Born in Willacoochee, Georgia to the late Alton and Elva Moore, Mrs. Childs was a forty year resident of Macclenny. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, sewing and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters: Charlotte (Richard) Mobarak of New Mexico, Susan (George) Nowlen of Macclenny, and Barbara Knight of Glen St. Mary; brothers: Clarence Moore of Willacoochee, GA and Roy Moore; eleven grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Billy L. Childs, daughter: Patty Allen, great granddaughter, Madisyn Nowlen, brother: Ronald Moore, and sister: Barbara Ann Bell. A graveside service will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Willachoochee City Cemetery, Willacoochee, GA with Reverend Jan Conners officiating.
