Jerry Harvey

Mr. Jerry J. "Crip" Harvey, age 55 of Macclenny, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016. Mr. Harvey was a lifelong Baker County resident. He was the son of the late James and Ernestine Davis Harvey. He was an avid Florida Gator football fan and loved to go fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and especially loved his dog, Maggie. He is survived by his brothers: Carl (Debbie) Harvey of Macclenny, Paul (Debbie) Harvey of Cuyler, and Tony Harvey of Macclenny; sisters: Joyce (Dave) Rhoden of Macclenny, Valerie (David) Thomas of Raleigh, NC, Margie (Thomas) Mann of Sanderson, and Delta (Johnny Hodges) Dugger of Baldwin; and brother-in-law: Kay Sands of Macclenny. Numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister: Linda Sands. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Thursday, January 21, 2016 at New Hope Church, Macclenny with Pastor J.C. Lauramore officiating and Brother Thomas Mann assisting. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 in the funeral home chapel.
