Jason Carter

Mr. Jason C. Carter, age 39 of Macclenny, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014. Mr. Carter was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose #2412 of Macclenny and Iron Worker's Union #597 of Jacksonville. He enjoyed fishing and riding in the woods. He also loved spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife: Alisa Carter; sons: Dakota Carter, Adam Carter, and Jesse Carter all of Macclenny; mother: Alice Hires of Macclenny; brothers: Robert Carter Jr. of Georgia, Ryan Carter and Tyler Hires, both of Macclenny; sisters: Shanna Rhoden and Aubree Hires, both of Macclenny and Lori Whitfield of Folkston, GA; one grandchild: Brantley Carter of Starke. Mr. Rhoden is also survived by many friends and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father: Robert W. Carter Sr.; maternal grandparents: M.N. and June Kraus; paternal grandparents: Charlie and Doris Carter; brother: Adam Carter; and sister: Tahra Carter. A celebration of his life will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 5739 Irvin Street, Macclenny. Arrangements are under the care and direction of FORBES FUNERAL HOME, 259-4600.
