Mr. James F. "Buckshot" Stewart, age 90 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015. Mr. Stewart was a retired small engine mechanic who believed in hard work. A Baker County native, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his hunting dogs. He also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his family and friends. He especially loved his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his sons: Ronald (Jackie) Stewart of Macclenny and Edward (Linda) Stewart of Jacksonville; daughters: Karen (Jack) Walls, Tresa (Keith Lancaster) Stewart, and Cindy (Chuck) Tharp all of Jacksonville; brother: Billy (Verna) Stewart of Macclenny; sister: Ora Starling of Macclenny; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Joyce Stewart; parents: James H. and Bertha Griffis Stewart; brothers: Vern Stewart, Baker Stewart, and Sam Stewart; sisters: Polly Barton, Myrtis Starling, and Alice Stewart; grandsons: Jimmy Stewart, Jack Walls, and Matthew Kite. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Glen Friendship Tabernacle, Glen St. Mary, with Pastor Albert Starling officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery, Macclenny. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Monday, September 7, 2015 at Glen Friendship Tabernacle.
