James Daniel Addison

James Daniel Addison, age 25 of Macclenny, passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2017.  A lifelong Baker County resident, he attended local schools and was a 2010 graduate of Baker County High School. James was a Crew Leader for Shaw's Tree Service and attended Manntown Congregational Holiness Church in Glen St. Mary. He enjoyed going fishing and raising chickens. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed being at home with his family. He will be remembered for his cheerful disposition. James loved to make people happy and would go out of his way to get a laugh or a smile. He is survived by his wife: Tabitha Addison; son: Maddox Addison; daughters: Jayde and Mackenzie Addison; and step-daughter: Shailyn Wood all of Macclenny; mother: Syretha Taylor of Macclenny; brother: Terry (Maryann) Addison Jr. of Macclenny; sisters: Stacey Taylor of Macclenny,  Bethany and Monica Addison, both of Jacksonville; and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father: Terry Addison Sr. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, October 20, 2017 at Manntown Congregational Holiness Church, Glen St. Mary, with Pastor David Hodges officiating. Burial will follow at Manntown Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00pm, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Manntown Congregational Holiness Church.
